Sweat in my eyeballs workout and a crazy Friday night.

I’m usually exhausted by Friday and I don’t have a lot of motivation to workout. I felt this way on Friday, but I gave myself a pep talk and went to the gym at lunch time. As always, I was so happy that I went once I was done. You never regret a workout!

I took a class called X-Fit which is a spin-off of Cross Fit. The workout of the day included:

4 Exercises
1. Weighted squats and shoulder raises
2. Push ups
3. Jumps over the weight bar (over and back = 1 rep)
4. Clean and presses from the floor and returning to the floor

Sets: 21, 19, 17, 15, 12, 9, 6

Each of the 4 exercises was done 21 times, then 19 times, and so on. This was a killer workout that combined strength and cardio and it was done in no time at all. 🙂

I was so ready for lunch and devoured some veggies and a protein bar when I got back to my desk.



Chris had off on Friday night (this is a new occurrence and I’m loving it), so we went to Juliana’s in the Village for dinner. We always go here for brunch and we love it, so we wanted to check out dinner.

I ordered the orange miso glazed cod with soba noodles and grilled asparagus. The fish was really flavorful and I loved the whole meal.


I couldn’t leave without getting one of these. Double chocolate chip cookies with white chocolate mousse…yup, it was worth every bite.


After hanging out with Annabelle for a while, we were all in bed by 10. I go to bed earlier on the weekends than I do during the week…
