Running4cheesecake

Yesterday’s lunch time run was 6.3 miles at a 7:55 pace. The weather was perfect and the company was even better. Since I didn’t take any pictures, here is a great one of my feet and legs from Monday night’s treadmill run…5.5 miles (8:34, 7:47, 7:35, 7:35, 7:35, 8:40).

Last night I met my friends Matt and Kirstyn for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.

Kirstyn was my college roommate (we met in 2000) and she welcomed Matt into her world in 2002, so I’ve known them a long time and they are awesome. Matt…in costume.

Kirstyn and I ordered the miso salmon minus the butter sauce with brown rice and snow peas.

The meal was good, but let’s be honest, I was looking forward to the good stuff.

Kirstyn and Matt split the red velvet cheesecake and I ordered the 30th anniversary chocolate cheesecake. Both of our pieces had a mixture of regular cake and cheesecake and that makes it semi-healthy. 🙂

My parents watched Annabelle while I was at dinner and they did lots of fun stuff like swinging at the park and eating vanilla ice cream.

Her new trick is to turn over, get on all fours, and laugh while we are trying to change her diaper. Any other moms experiencing this?!?!?

Do you like cheesecake?
Is today a running or cross-training day?
