I’m still freezing.

Since the Northeast is expecting a monster storm starting tonight, Jeanette and I wanted to fit in a long run while we could still see the ground. My legs were a bit sore from my tempo run on Monday and a make shift body pump style workout I did yesterday, so I wasn’t too excited about it. This seemed like a much better option. πŸ™‚

I ate a Clif Bar for breakfast and it was a really good flavor…chocolate almond fudge. It must have energized me because our 10 miles (9.8 to be exact) were over before I knew it. So what if I couldn’t feel my hands or face? We even hung onto an 8:10 pace, but we both felt as if we were running slower. Seeing improvement in my running makes me a very happy girl. πŸ™‚

I was hangry when we finished, so I ran back to my desk and cooked microwaved this meal. It steams in the bag and it tasted super flavorful and fresh (for a frozen meal).

I also ate a banana and shivered through the afternoon. I cannot get warm! I was so excited when snack time finally rolled around. Strawberry yogurt with chocolate Belvita biscuits is my new favorite snack.

I can’t wait to get home, eat dinner and ice cream, and hopefully enjoy a snow day with my family tomorrow!

  3. I’m always cold for the whole day after a run in cold weather. I can sit with the heat full on drinking coffee or eating soup, but I don’t manage to go back to normal.
