A Stitch Fix outfit and the best post workout snack.

Yesterday I was decked out in an outfit from Stitch Fix. <—-referral link.

Bracelet and earrings from Zad. (The bracelets came in a 3 pack with a green and blue bracelet.)

Thanks to my friend Kelly for the wonderful photography. 🙂

Last night, Annabelle and I ate dinner, I gave her a bath, and she was asleep before 8:30. Since I didn’t have time to workout earlier in the day, I went to the basement and did a Fitness Blender workout on YouTube while watching some Biggest Loser.

The workout was only about 35 minutes but it was a good one. It used the ladder structure and included lots of burpees, push ups, high knees, squats, mountain climbers, and abs.

When I got back upstairs, I remembered that I had the bright idea to make these babies after dinner.

So yea, my post workout snack was a brownie topped with ice cream…

Happy Friday!

Fun Things Friday!

Happy Friday! Fridays are my favorite…I work from home (in pjs) and Chris is usually off at night. 🙂

Let’s get right into the fun stuff! Please feel free to play along in the comments and let me know about some fun things in your world!

1. We took AB to Dutch Wonderland on Sunday and she loved the rides. Her favorites were the carousel and the airplanes. 🙂

PS My blue striped jacket is from Stitch Fix! <—-referral link. 🙂

2. I went to the dermatologist for my annual skin checkup (I'm very mole-y). Fun fact…Annabelle likes to point at all of my moles and say "mooooole". How sweet of her to point all of them out. My doctor looked at my face and said she could, "fix it." Here's to not having a middle school girl's skin anymore!

3. We had an earthquake drill at work today. It was called “The Great Shakeout.” Kelly and I had some fun with it and enjoyed the 3 minutes we got to spend under our desks. 🙂

4. I ate a lot of healthy food this week! Yesterday’s breakfast was a Thomas’ English muffin topped with Justin’s Maple Almond Butter and a banana…yes, I made it into a smiley face. For lunch, I had a veggie burger topped with Colby cheese served with a side of veggies.

In case you are wondering about my calcium intake, I will be eating ice cream in a few minutes. 🙂

5. I got a flu shot yesterday. While this isn’t really fun, at least I hopefully won’t get the flu. I often have a mild reaction to the shot and fall ill the next day. I may be feeling pretty bad by the time you all read this. I was attempting to take a picture of the bandaid on my arm, but it just wasn’t working out. However, I did get a semi decent picture of one of my other favorite Stitch Fix items. <—-referral link 🙂

6. I ran today! I’ve been in a bit of a running rut lately. I guess two back to back marathon training cycles with a 50k thrown in caused me to burn out. I still love to run, but it’s been nice to not have the pressure of training and meeting certain time goals. Today I enjoyed a nice 6.3 mile run with Jeanette and it felt great.

Tell me something fun about your Friday, weekend, life, anything!

Three things…

1. I’m running my first 50k tomorrow! Here’s hoping to becoming an Ultra runner tomorrow!

2. I had my first Stitch Fix today and I LOVED everything!

3. I’m turning 32 tomorrow (Sunday)!

See you from the finish line!
