Congrats Andrea and Dave!

We attended an absolutely beautiful wedding on Saturday evening and watched two of Chris’ long time friends tie the knot. 🙂 Fun fact: Chris went to prom with the bride and he wore the same shoes to that prom and her wedding.

The ceremony and reception were held at Richardson Farms. It was a gorgeous setting.

Releasing 2 white doves.

Best cocktail hour eats…mini chicken and waffles with a maple glaze. I will not admit how many I ate and I may or may not have chased down the people serving them. 🙂

First dance 🙂

Me and my date ❤ PS my dress is from The Rage and it is super fun (and comfortable!).

We had such a great time and we hope the newlyweds are having a wonderful honeymoon!

3 hours of sleep and Cedar Point!

Last night we attended Kellie and Mike’s beautiful wedding on the bay. Congrats you two!

Aunt Carrie watched Annabelle for us and she got her to fall asleep at 7:30!

Since we didn’t get home until very late and we had an early flight to catch, I got 3 hours of sleep and needed coffee in a bad way.

My mom, Carrie, and I flew to Cleveland and we are meeting my brother and Kenzie here. We are headed to Cedar Point for the weekend…lots of rides and Halloween themed fun!

Our flight got to Cleveland a bit earlier than John’s, so we have been waiting in this dirty room that smells like exhaust. 😦

Cedar Point here we come!

Do you like roller coasters?

Celebrating Our 4th Wedding Anniversary!

Last Friday (May 10th), Chris and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary!

A lot has happened in the past 4 years, but the highlights are definitely…

Buying our first home

and having our first baby!

To celebrate our anniversary, we went to dinner at Roy’s.  The food is considered “Hawaiian fusion” and the restaurant has a fun Hawaiian feel to it.

We started with the Salt and Pepper Calamari with barbeque sauce.  It was excellent…unlike my picture taking skills :).

For the entrees, I ordered the salmon with white rice and cucumber salad and Chris ordered the surf and turf with lobster and filet.  I would love to show you pictures, but I didn’t take any because the flash kept going off and I felt like I was disturbing people.

I did however get a picture of dessert…molten chocolate cake!  We may or may not have ordered a second dessert of peanut butter cookies filled with chocolate :).

I saved the best for last…my gorgeous anniversary/Mother’s Day present!

Please ignore my scaly hand that is in desperate need of some lotion.

I’m one lucky girl :).

We had an awesome night and I can’t wait to see what the next 4 years will bring!

What do you think?

What anniversary are you celebrating this year?

What is the best present you have ever gotten?

4 Years Ago Today…

I married my best friend! I can’t believe it’s been 4 years already.

Tonight, Annabelle will be hanging with Dawn and Chris and I are going to Roy’s for dinner. I love trying new restaurants and the menu looks great :).

BTW, this is by far the best anniversary so far…

Have a great Friday!

An awesome wedding overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.

Yesterday morning while I packed  and got things ready for our night away (we spent the night in Annapolis for my dear friend Gina’s wedding), Annabelle tired herself out in the rainforest.

I ate breakfast (flax waffle with almond butter, bananas, and blueberries) and headed to the gym for a quick workout.  I did 40 minutes on the elliptical, 10 minutes on the stair climber, 50 pushups, and 50 crunches.

I dressed Annabelle in an outfit that would make her Granses happy.  It was really hard to leave her for the night…but it was fun to spend time with Chris and some great friends.

Gina and Chad’s wedding was absolutely wonderful!

Beautiful setting!

We had an awesome time.  🙂

What do you think?

Have you attended any weddings lately?

Do you hit the dance floor?

A week of workouts.

Please check out Erica Sara Design’s Boston Strong necklace.  During the month of April, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the victims and their families.

Baltimore peeps, Charm City Run is hosting a Run for Boston on Monday, April 22nd at 6:30.  Check the website for locations.

Last Sunday, I ran a 10k and finished in about 52 minutes.  It was a very pretty day and a fun run.

After the run, Frank and I hit the bikes for a 15 mile ride.  This was my first time on a bike in a long time and it took me a little while to get comfortable.  Those skinny tires on road bikes make me so nervous!

Sunday was also my mom’s birthday.  Happy Birthday Mom!

After Sunday’s activities, Monday was a much needed yoga day.

Tuesday was a gym day…30 minutes elliptical, 3000 meter row, 10 minutes on stair climber.

Wednesday, YOGA!

Thursday was another gym day…40 minutes elliptical, 2000 meter row, abs

Friday was a great workout!  25 mile bike and 6 mile run 🙂  Frank is training for an Olympic distance triathlon so I tagged along.

I ate fro yo 3 times this week…it’s getting out of hand.

Here are some pictures of Annabelle…just because 🙂

Tomorrow is an exciting day…one of my dearest running friends is getting married!  I can’t wait to help her celebrate her big day :).

What do you think?

Did you try a new workout this week?

Fro yo or ice cream?

Celebrating the marriage of John and Emmy!

Yesterday, I hosted a party to celebrate John and Emmy’s marriage :-).

Since they had a small (and quite lovely) ceremony in November, they decided to have a party to celebrate the wedding with friends and family that could not attend.  We spent the morning prepping and decorating…and trying to keep the boys from eating everything.

The spread included:

Chili and cornbread

Chick-fil-A chicken

Chips and dips – 5 layer, guacamole, buffalo chicken

Veggie platter, m&ms, combos, mixed nuts

Cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcakes, brownies and cookies made from scratch store bought mixes – you need to try these cupcakes…they deliver 🙂

The Bride and Groom!  and Morgan

My mom’s side of the family –

From left to right:  Back row – Me, Mom, Ronnie, Joan, and Janice

Front row – Molly

Annabelle got all dressed up for the party.  She was a big hit!

AB was tired out after a long day of visiting.  She loves sleeping on Poppy.

We had a great day with family and friends…and awesome food!  Congrats, Emmy and John!

Getting to know me: Our Wedding!

Chris and I met in April 2006 while working at Damon’s Grill.  After dating for two years, Chris popped the question while we were on vacation in Cozumel, Mexico in April 2008.  While we entertained the idea of a local wedding, we decided that a destination wedding was the right choice for us.  Since we both love Vegas and we had vacationed there many times, it was an easy decision.  On May 10, 2009, we were married in the chapel of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Before the ceremony!

Pictures outside!

The cake!

Dinner at Rum Jungle!

Drinks at Mixx on the roof of Mandalay Bay!
